About Plant Consultations

What Is A Plant Consultation?

Our plant consultations are done in-person, with an appointment time of fifteen minutes, for a maximum of three plants. During the appointment general knowledge, care instructions, and problem solving will be given for each plant.

Who will I be meeting with for my consultation?

Our plant expert, "Planty Angie" (Angie Arnoldy), will be your guide. Angie is our Senior Keyholder and has been a member of our team for four years. She is currently finishing her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology. Angie is a plant enthusiast and has an extensive collection of houseplants at home.

What topics will be.covered?

Your plants will be identified to give an understanding of their specific needs. Guidance on watering, lighting, fertilization and other care practices will be provided. We will help troubleshoot issues, including disease, and poor growth. Repotting may also be done to give your plants the appropriate space to thrive.

We will also help you plan for a functional and aesthetic environment for your plants - one that can grow with your lifestyle.

Please note: To protect our market plants we ask that you refrain from bringing in plants with pests/insects. We will gladly provide guidance on how to administer care at home.

Is there a limit to the number of plants covered?

Each fifteen minute time slot will allow for one of the following options:

    • 3 plants that are 8" in diameter or smaller
    • 1 plant that is larger than 8" in diameter

What if I am a plant novice?

No worries! Planty Angie will help you get started on the right path. These plant consultations are set up to help you succeed as a plant parent.

What is the refund / rescheduling policy?
